President: Lindsey Kutcher
Lindsey Kutcher, LISW, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Psychology at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus in Family Centered Practice and a School Social Work Endorsement at the University of Iowa. Currently, Lindsey is a School Social Worker in Cedar Rapids with Grant Wood Area Education Agency (GWAEA), and is a mental health therapist in the evenings for youth, adults, and families. She is a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer, who provides training that teaches adults how to support youth experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or crisis. Lindsey is a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management team with GWAE, a trained team of experts available to assist schools in times of crisis or traumatic event and to help schools and districts plan for such events. Lindsey has served on the ISSWA board since 2019 as the Webmaster, President Elect, and currently President. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys all things active and outdoors!
