Social Media Chair: Andrea Leisinger

Andrea Leisinger, LMSW, received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Wartburg College in 2018. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver School of Social Work in 2020, focusing her work on school social work and youth mental health. Andrea’s love for school social work sparked after working with and learning from the children at Mount Saint Vincent Home in Denver, Colorado. After working at Mount Saint Vincent Home, Andrea worked in Cherry Creek School District as a Master’s level intern and Douglas County School District as a School Social Worker all during her time in Colorado. Andrea currently works for Heartland AEA, primarily serving PreK through 12th grade at Gilbert School District. She is currently working toward her LISW and loves spending time with her family and friends.
