DAY AT THE CAPITOL

Join us for our Sixth Annual Day at the Capitol, presented by the Iowa School Social Workers’ Association and the Iowa School Psychologists Association! A Day at the Capitol provides an opportunity for us to come together and share with state lawmakers about how we address student barriers to learning and academic success in cost-effective ways. This is a professional development opportunity, not a political lobby day. The ISSWA/ISPA Day at the Capitol will be on March 5, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We strongly recommend participants attend the Lunch and Learn with Cathy Beck-Cross on Applying the Skills You Already Have to Legislative Advocacy and  Legislative Panel Discussion events to prepare for the Day at the Capitol Event.
