In addition to her leadership at the state level, Madison serves as Vice President of the Midwest Council and is an active member of the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) through the Legislative and Advocacy Committee. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Northern Iowa, completing her master’s with a specialization in trauma-informed care. Madison grew up in Northeast Iowa and frequently returns to visit family and friends. In her free time, she works at the Iowa Children’s Museum in Coralville during summers and school breaks. Outside of work, you can often catch her with a cup of coffee or tea in hand, reading a good book, and spending time outside. |
